50 word stories

1. Janice’s hands trembling and nails cracking, she thinks something is wrong with her health. Weakening, Janice thinks about the meaningful things she could do for her family. “It is important to treasure what you have now, than to regret later”, she thinks aloud, unaware of her negative AIDS test result.

2. Javier started swimming at a young age. Ever since, before training, his mother would make him a cup of Milo. He was grateful, but he never thanked her. During a competition when he won a gold medal, his mother passed away. Javier hence dedicates that medal to his deceased mother.

3. “It’s a bear!”
Jayden hollers in fright, pointing behind Morris. Morris screams, jumping. He begins to cry as Jayden chuckles mockingly.
“Bears don’t live around these woods, don’t you know?”
As he laughs nonchalantly, he doesn’t hear a twig snap, nor see a large brown bear creeping up behind him.

4. Douglas searches high and low for his blue pyjamas.
“Mom! Did you see my pyjamas?” he shouts. His mother said no. He decides to wash up first and find it later. “That looks familiar.” Douglas thinks to himself while looking into the mirror, reflecting the pastel blue garment he wore.

5. Lena decides not to procrastinate and tells herself to do homework. When she reaches home, she ends up watching anime. Unknowingly, Lena gets too engrossed and forgets about her homework. She starts panicking and finishes up her homework. The next morning, she came to realise that it’s due next week.

   HAHA i like the Lena one. it feels like she has been watching anime and didnt want to do her work.

       The stories are good except for the 2nd one which is a little cliche and expected.
