I was on the train and this girl caught my eye. She was wearing a black-framed spectacles, white polo tee, grey bermudas, a white pair of sneakers and was carrying a black Crumpler bag. She looked like she was around 19-22 years old. More importantly, she looked like a butch.

On the LRT ride from Senja to Choa Chu Kang, she was sending messages with her black cell phone non-stop. She will smile to her cell phone at times. So creepy. It could be her girlfriend sending sweet messages or a friend who was sending her funny messages?

Coincidentally, she took the same MRT train as me from Choa Chu Kang. She took out her black iPod Nano, listened to music and awhile later, she put on her black Nike jacket. She probably felt cold on the train. The only colours on her were black, white and grey. She probably does not like any bright coloured stuff- just simple and dull. I think she come from quite a well-off family too as she’s full of branded stuff. She was also well tanned and thin. I guess that she is someone who loves playing sports as well.

Later, an old lady boarded the train and she stood up immediately to give up her seat for her. The most heartening thing I noticed was that as she stood up, she gave the old lady a bright smile. She’s got a nice smile, actually.

As she got closer to me when she was standing along the aisle, I saw a black ring on the ring finger of her left hand. Could it have been from her girlfriend? There was also a silver ring on the index finger of the right hand and black bands on both of her ankles.

She looked at her black watch for quite a few times. I was thinking that she could be late for an appointment. While she was looking at the electronic board above the train doors to see where she was, this came into my mind. “Oh my, how many more stops to go?” Looks like she was really late.

Antoinette White 33 club st #08-19

I was reading magazine in the library in the evening while waiting for time to pass to meet up with my friend.

I saw this young lady who was sitting beside me, probably in her 20s, flipping through a bridal magazine. I think she is getting married soon, probably in the midst of her wedding preparation.

She looked quite pretty. She will definitely look stunning in a bridal gown. She has long wavy hair and good complexion too. She was in a white t-shirt, white shorts, a white pair of slippers and carrying a white wallet and a black cell phone. That’s the only black thing on her. She must be someone who loves white and purity. I guessed that she probably lives nearby since she’s so casual in her clothing. Probably waiting for her boyfriend to come and have dinner with her.

She stopped at a page with a model wearing Vera Wang’s bridal gown. Is she going to get one? Later, she stared at the page with the table layout of Goodwood Park Hotel. Is she going to have her banquet there or is she dreaming to? She must be spending a lot of money then.

Awhile later, her boyfriend came and pecked her on her cheeks. “What a lovely couple!” I thought. She pointed at the Vera Wang gown to her boyfriend and said, “I want this gown!” Her boyfriend replied saying, “We’ll look for more gowns.” Her boyfriend probably thinks that the gown is not that nice after all. She pouted and left the library with her boyfriend hand in hand.

Created Story.

Zelda and Antoinette has been friends for years. All these years, Zelda has been in love with Antoinette. She enjoys sending her messages now and then. Antoinette has all the while been treating her as a good friend and does not ignore her messages even though she knows that she’s in love with her. Thus, giving Zelda a wrong idea. Zelda didn’t know that Antoinette’s attached. One day, Zelda decided to surprise her by finding her in the library. She saw her flipping through a bridal magazine. Later, she saw Antoinette’s boyfriend kissed her on cheeks. Zelda’s heart broke into pieces. She’s the one who got surprised instead. She decided to go up to Antoinette’s boyfriend, gave her boyfriend a punch and pull Antoinette along with her. Antoinette was extremely angry and slapped Zelda and told her “I’m not interested in you, bitch.”

   Good observations on the physical and behavioral aspects of the characters – I would’ve liked to see more thought and insight into the second character though. Good job overall
